Points To Note – COVID-19

We hope you’ve had a fantastic week! We wanted to mention a couple of points that have either been asked or mentioned to us within the past few weeks. We hope this helps our current & future customers when placing an order.
◾️ Our biltong has a 3-month shelf life but if opened, we recommended you keep it either in a cool place or in the fridge.
◾️ Our biltong comes with fat on it. This is how we enjoyed it back in Africa. There is an option to have biltong without the fat & you will find this on the biltong stick listing on our website.
◾️ Biltong is made every week, so if you’re local, feel free to message us for an update. We do not always have biltong readily available on the same day each week. We offer free delivery for local and online orders.
◾️ Due to COVID-19, biltong boxes are currently either coming with silver or plastic trays depending on availability.
◾️ Boxes arrive with no handles but are included in your delivery and are easy to assemble. We do this due to previous breakages and disappointment in transit.
◾️ Boxes take approximately 7 – 10 days so if you are ordering them for a special occasion, please give yourself enough time. They are bespoke and handmade especially for you.
◾️ We pride ourselves on the rustic look our boxes have. The timber we use is from recycled pallets. Not only do we love how the boxes look when made, we also love the fact we are recycling this wood. A lot of hard work, time & love goes into the boxes we make.
