Meet the Team
We have decided to do a ⭐Meet The Team⭐ Blog so that you can see that there are real people behind the business.
We have 3 members of staff at Billies and Tong so i will go ahead and introduce us.
First is Gerry, who i would imagine you all know. Gerry is the owner, creator and idea’s man, it is Gerry’s passion that started Billies and Tong and is still the driving force behind it.
As you know, all of our Biltong Dryers and Cutters are handmade and Gerry shares the making of the Wooden Dryers between himself and Chris.
Chris is Billies and Tong’s part time Skilled Carpenter and joined the Team back in March 2017. Chris makes our Wooden Dryers, Cutters and Wooden Gift Sets. By Chris halving Gerry’s work load on the wooden products it free’s up time for Gerry to produce the Commercial Dryers.
And then there is me, Jo. I am Billies and Tong’s Social Media, Sales & Marketing Manager (Gerry gave me a posh job title as it makes me feel special 
) I joined the team at the end of February this year and I post all of the (very witty) content for the Website, Facebook, Instagram & Twitter. When you contact us via email, messenger or the website it is usually me that you get a reply from.
Random Team Facts…
*Gerry… has a real thing for Country Music (LOL) 
*Chris… likes to mix music in his spare time, his genres include Dubstep, Grime & Drum & Bass
